Episode 28 Preview!

Episode 28 of Tope Con Coolio emerges this Thursday, and we've felt that we havent ripped off enough formats. Telethons, game shows, sex hotlines, these are all childs play. We're tackling a new, untapped genre - cancelled VH1 panel shows! In this instance, we're taking on a former debate show and making it our own when we debut The Tope List! The format goes as follows: Stephanie, acting as host, will lead a panel of Ben G, Ben P, Bryan and a special guest contributor in a wrestling based topic where each panelist must choose their top three points in said category. The points are then argued and discussed until finally, the overall top three is chosen. The first edition of The Tope List will feature a discussion of the Best Wrestling Entrances Ever!

If you've been a long time fan of Tope Con Coolio, then you know we're huge marks for game shows and television specials. Dragon Aid, Win A Date With Stephanie, we've already hit a couple. And tonight, we present our latest game show for wrestling fans - Gimmick or No Gimmick! TCC's own Stephanie Swist will be a contestant on Deal or No Deal, which tapes next week, and to prepare her for the experience, we will present our own version of the game show. 26 gimmick lay in 26 briefcases, ranging from Barry Horowitz all the way up to Ric Flair and Steph will have to rely on luck and probability in order to select the best possible gimmick for her. However, the booker wishes to keep Steph down the card for political reasons, so he will try and make sure Steph leaves with the lowest gimmick possible. What gimmick will Steph win? Except, I don't know what to write.
You might enjoy tonight's episode. We're playing our own version of Deal or No Deal to prepare me for my taping of it next week. Except it's called Gimmick or No Gimmick. Pretty much, just like the show, I want to have the best gimmick in my case. Should make for a good show, definitely listen tonight. I'm heading to CT next week to tape! I'm so excited.

Speaking of CT and excited, I'm also pumped for ISW on August 8th. Ben Pasco and I are heading down a day early, so if you're doing so, be sure to look for us. We're staying at the Quality Inn in Vernon, so find us!! Make sure to order tickets if you haven't done so already. Mike Rotch is a good friend of the show and we want to make sure we support him as much as possible since we definitely don't want to be ogre fucked by him... well... maybe we kinda do... Episode 25 is in the books. And....it was nuts. But we hit another milestone. In addition to it being our 25th episode, tonight we had more listeners than any show we've done so far.

Tope Con Coolio reaches a milestone this week with our 25th episode! Stephanie is out again for a couple more weeks following a horrific boating accident. But she will return to the side of Tope Con Coolio to back us up against Sid Justice at Wrestlemania 8 in no time! I decided when we launched this website that one of the things I wanted to include was random wrestling related videos, whether it be matches, promos, music videos, and whatnot.
