Tope Con Coolio presents: WIN A DATE WITH STEPHANIE!

Tope Con Coolio is coming up on our 21st episode, and for some reason, we're considering this a milestone. Maybe because Ben Pasco's coming up on his 21st. Maybe its cause we all might drink during this episode. Maybe it's because we've got fucked up priorities. Anyway, we decided we wanted to give back to the awesome fans of this podcast while at the same time, getting new listeners to join the gang of dorks that listen to our show every week. Then, Ben Pasco, in the midst of eating a Fenway Frank had a flash of genius that still horrifies us to this day. The five words that will likely haunt us for weeks and months to come:

"Win a date with Stephanie"

Ben pitched it to the rest of us, and Bryan and I decided "Hells yea!" Steph just gave us awkward glances, then realized that this could be advantageous. After all, she does like boys and she does like wrestling. So a wrestling fan is totally not out of the question for someone she would date! And who makes up the majority of our fanbase? Thats right! Male wrestling fans!

So we all agreed that we would prepare for this over the course of the next few weeks. Win A Date With Stephanie will take place during our 21st episode, which will be June 11th. Steph will choose from 3 lucky bachelors, and she will have no knowledge of who the bachelors are. We plan to run this much like the classic game show "The Dating Game" in that Steph will get to ask her mystery bachelors a series of questions before choosing the lucky winner.

I'm sure you're wondering: How do I become one of the lucky bachelors? It's quite simple. We ask that you send a one minute audio submission in an email to topeconcoolio@gmail.com explaining why you think you would be a good match for Stephanie. If you can't record audio, we will accept a written entry 300 words or less. But an audio submission will earn your brownie points. We also ask that you include your name, age, hometown, and favorite wrestler. (Hint: Stephanie LOVES Claudio Castagnoli) From those entries, Ben, Ben and Bryan will choose the 3 bachelors we think Steph would like the most, and from there it's on to the show!

We will begin accepting submissions immediately after Episode 19 ends this Thursday evening. Anything recieved before then will be deleted, so hold your horses, fellas. In the next couple of weeks, Steph will post a series of blogs right here at Topeconcoolio.com to give the fellas a better idea of what she's looking for in a man. Could you be that man?
