My compilation part 1

So recently reading the DVDR board I saw that Rob Naylor has released a comp. For those who don't know a comp stands for complilation and is basically a collection of matches that for whatever reason you would want to put on a tape. SO for this one, Ima try and remove really obvious matches and pick some matches that may not be totally expected so here we go.

Jimmy Jacobs and Alex Shelley vs Don Juan and Fast Eddie vs Ring Crew Express vs The Ring Crew Express (ROH- Empire State Showdown)

Probably the greatest scramble tag that ROH ever did and the match that really cemented me as a fan of ROH and started my man love affair with Jimmy Jacobs. Just what a scramble is supposed to be, a sprint with cool moves and innovative spots.

Kevin Steen and El Generico vs Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black ( ROH Driven)

I don't know how well this match translates to DVD, but live its my all time favorite moment a a fan watching this. A ridiculously hot crowd who has fallen for Steen and Generico as hard if not harder then most ROH cities. Plus proof that not all matches need to be headdroppy to be great.

The Four Doinks vs Team Bigelow ( WWF Survivor Series 93)

Ok...I know what you're thinking, but fuck you this match is just awesome. It's just stupid with its comedy but it still entertains me to this day. I don't care if you like the match...Just accept that it's awesome

Florida Brothers and Kensuke Sasuke vs Magnum Tokyo, Dragon Kid, Genk Horiguchi( Some Toruymon/Dragon Gate Show)

The only other match that made me laugh out loud throughout the entire thing.Big old Kensuke just acting the fool made this a great match and my first introduction to Dragon Gate.

Goldberg vs Raven (US Title match Monday Nitro)

So much fun to see leave and watching Raven get squashed by the Goldberg machine ha never been so fun. Just a great whole dog and pony show thing and just classic overall.

Homicide vs Colt Cabana (ROH Better then our Best)

I think this match is criminally underrated as a feud ender. After all the abuse Cabana suffered at the hands of Homicide, Cabana get revenge for nearly every action Homicide ever made at him and after the victory..is finally able to go back to the Colt Cabana we know and love. A classic feud ender

Jimmy Jacobs vs Abyss ( IWA-MS)

Oh my god...what a fun fucking match this is. Little Jimmy and Big Abyss in an epic battle. Jimmy Jacobs is a god at getting destroyed and this match is further proof. A really overlooked match thats so simple and so much fun

James Storm vs Chris harris (TNa Sacrifice)

Another great feud ender and a match that got a lot of love at the time,but fell by the wayside. The point where James Storm seemed to make his name and where I though Chris Harris could be a star, but leave it to TNA to fuck that one up

Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Big Show and Matt Hardy vs Edge, Chris Masters, Kurt Angle and Gene Snitsky ( Monday Night Raw September 2005)

One of those moments I love is when the WWE does these mega 8 man tags. It was just a really fun and simple match that I remember watching with a smile on my face

Samoa Joe vs Jay Briscoe ( ROH At our best)

Such a great match with an ending that had everyone guessing. Jay Briscoe tried to die for our sins and I was prepared to let him after this match. Its violence is legendary, but the story of Jay being so close to victory isn't as discussed

Kenta and Davey Richards vs Roderick Strong and Austin Aries ( ROH Honor Reclaims Boston)

FUCKING DISGUSTING. This match had me in the front row cringing at the violence I saw before me. Just a brutal display of hatred to each other. The fact that anyone can take that kind of abuse is rigoddamndiculous

Thats all for now. Its a lot harder to come up with a diverse list then youd think and so Ima spend more time on part two. lemme know thoughts. Note, this tape isnt real unless you wanna make it for me and send it a a gift
